Eastern Fine Paper Inc. is shuttering its
No. 3 paper machine indefinitely. The company, located in Brewer, Maine, is
currently undergoing Chapter 11 reorganization.
According to Joseph Torras, Jr., Eastern Fine Paper’s president and COO, the mill's remaining paper machines have the capacity to absorb all of the tonnage that No. 3 has been making and can do so much more efficiently. – The Bangor Times.
