Ideal was purchased for an undisclosed amount.
Ideal will join e-cycled.com's other operating units that include Fibres International, Best Recycling, and Recycle Systems. These operating units form a nationwide commerce center network that moves recycled materials through the supply chain from the 3,000 plus nationwide recyclers to the over 500 paper mills worldwide that use these materials. This Internet-based supply chain creates long-term efficiencies that add value to both suppliers and purchasers of materials, while providing an instant purchasing marketplace of a size that cannot be found elsewhere in the industry.
``With the acquisition of Ideal Paper and the successful launch of the company's Internet B2B web site (ecycled.com), we have achieved a critical benchmark for our company that affirms our position as the largest Recycling Industry e-commerce company in the world,'' said David Goldsmith, e-cycled.com's. president and COO.
