The American Forest and Paper Association, along with
Papercast, will be holding a conference on e-commerce in the paper industry
Feb. 5-6 in Las Vegas. The meeting, called “e-Commerce in the Paper Industry:
Achieving Critical Mass,” will cover topics such as how e-commerce will change
the way the paper business operates;
how will e-business affect customer relationships; and how standards help
jumpstart e-transactions.
The program will be broken out into two sessions. On
the first day the conference will revolve around the business implications of
e-Commerce. The second day will focus on the need for standards and key issues
in their development.
