The consumption of containerboard stands at
2.343 million tons, a 1.8 percent drop from figures the same time last year.
According to the Fibre Box Association consumption of containerboard over the
first 11 months of the year stands at 28.143 million tons, a 0.7 percent drop
from figures the same time last year.
Meanwhile, the inventory of containerboard
at corrugator plants redached 2.445 million tons at the end of November, a 1.3
percent drop from the previous month.
Although the inventory level dipped, the
weeks of supply on hand increased by 5 percent to 4.2 weeks of supply.
