Field Group plc, a subsidiary of Chesapeake, developed an innovative, liquid-tight carton known as the "Biopack" to a United Kingdom's produce manufacturer. Field also installed a high-speed machine to erect the Biopack carton.
The Biopack carton is heat-sealed to provide a tight closure. Further, it uses 85 percent less plastic than a conventional plastic bottle of the same size.
