Caraustar Industries, Inc.
is seeking to raise about $300 million through an institutional private
placement of senior subordinated notes. Completion of the offering is expected
later this month, subject to market conditions. The proceeds of the anticipated
offering would be used to pay off Caraustar's senior credit facility and 7.74
percent senior notes and for general working capital needs.
