Boise Cascade Corp. and Alliance Forest Products Inc. jointly announced that Boise Cascade would acquire all fixed assets and trademarks of Alliance Forest Products-Joists Inc. for C$17 million in cash. The transaction is expected to close at the end of this month, subject to approval by U.S. and Canadian regulators.
AllJoist, a subsidiary of Alliance Forest Products Inc., operates a wood I-joist manufacturing plant at Edmunston, New Brunswick, with annual production capacity of 40 million linear feet.
