Amcor announced it is acquiring CNC Containers Corp., a Washington state-based PET beverage container producer.
CNC operates four manufacturing plants, located in the Western United States.
In addition to the four manufacturing plants CNC owns 80 percent of PET Products International, which operates a plan in Lima, Peru, and also announced plans to build a plant in Valencia, Venezuela.
The deal is expected to be complete by the middle of next month.
