Sweden-based Sandvik Construction, a manufacturer of mobile crushers, screens and other equipment for the construction industry, has launched a new unit to its patented Doublescreen line of technology. The QA335 Doublescreen midsized unit offers a highly efficient, versatile and productive solution that is capable of producing large volumes of high specification products.

Sandvik Construction says the Doublescreen technology gives users screening flexibility. The QA335 includes numerous features for ease of operation and high levels of efficiency, according to the company. Some of these features include a user-friendly electrical control system with sequential start up, hydraulic screen separation to aid screen media changes and a fuel efficient 74.5 kilowatt, 100 horsepower engine.

Additional features of the QA335, according to Sandvik, include:

  • two independent two-deck screens, which effectively perform two processes on one plant;
  • capable of producing large volumes of high specification products;
  • designed for efficient fuel economy and low operating costs;
  • ease of operation with new color-coded control panel with sequential start up;
  • ease of maintenance with wrap-around walkways to provide a safe working platform;
  • wide selection of optional extras to suit nearly every climate and customer need; and
  • safety compliant with the latest Machinery Directives and full radio remote control throughout.

Sandvik says its innovative Doublescreen technology is one of the most adaptable and flexible screening solutions available. It consists of two high velocity screen boxes, featuring independent screen drives with the ability to adjust the working angle of each screen independently to each other to suit the exact requirements of an application. This technology offers users greater adjustability, increased accuracy and higher screening efficiency, making it ideal for producing tight specification products without compromising on production, the company says.
