Conveyor Dynamics recently celebrated its 20-year anniversary. According to a company news release, Conveyor Dynamics has been providing customers with conveyor designs and solutions to increase efficiency and maximize performance for 20 years.
“It has been a special year for us as we celebrate our anniversary, in addition to, a record year at Conveyor Dynamics,” says Mark Didion, vice president of systems integration at Conveyor Dynamics. “Just in the month of October we had 11 truckloads of vibratory equipment delivered to customers including vibratory feeders, transfer conveyors and UMOs.”
Conveyor Dynamics offers several innovative designs based on customer feedback in its Smart Spring System and its Stabilizer Mounts. For both, the company uses a reinforced “Open-T” structure to allow for easy access to fasteners.
“This may seem straightforward,” Didion says. “However, this is a very popular compliment we continually receive from customers. Other manufacturers use angles with small ports cut to gain access to the fasteners. Maintenance personnel tell us constantly how difficult it is to tighten the bolts on this outdated design. The extra steps to manufacture the Open-T structure make it all worthwhile, keeping the customer’s best interest in mind.”
In addition, Conveyor Dynamics updated the aluminum rocker leg normally used on vibratory equipment to an extra heavy-duty design that used ductile iron for increased strength and longevity. The company designed its stabilizers, springs and drives to be interchangeable with other vibratory manufacturers so customers have a choice. This enables customers to reduce their spare parts inventory, as well.
