Bejac opens location in Nevada

California-based equipment distributor makes move to fully serve Las Vegas-area market.

Placentia, California-based construction and demolition equipment provider Bejac Corporation has announced the opening of a new location in Las Vegas.

The company says the new facility will support operations with service bays, warehousing, wash rack and a secure, paved yard. The new branch offers heavy equipment for sale or rent, parts inventory and onsite or in-shop service for maintenance and repairs. The new Las Vegas branch is scheduled to open in June.

“We are proud to be expanding our operations, and we look forward to providing a wide range of equipment options to companies in the area,” says Ron Barlet, president at Bejac Corporation. “We have assembled an experienced team with strong ties to the area. We are seeing tremendous growth in the Las Vegas area and decided it was time to bring our experience of over thirty years in the industry to Nevada.”

Bejac indicates it has provided heavy equipment for several projects in Nevada, including the demolition of the Riviera Hotel and, currently, for the reconfiguration of the Interstate-15 “Spaghetti Bowl” interchange.

The new Las Vegas branch will carry: the construction product line from Liebherr; shredders, screens and separators from Komptech; grinders from Diamond Z; Genesis attachments; and rock drilling tools from Epiroc. Industry sectors to be served include construction, demolition, recycling and forestry.

Bejac was founded in 1953 as an underground pipeline contracting business and began selling heavy equipment in 1985. The company says its seven locations allow it to serve customers in California, Arizona and Nevada.
