The organizer of the AMI Plastics World Expos event, which will take place Nov. 13-14 in Cleveland, says more than 100 industry speakers and panelists have been recruited to offer information on plastics recycling, compounding, extrusion and testing during programs running concurrently with the expo.
According to United Kingdom-based event organizer Applied Market Information Ltd. (AMI), the two-day conference programs include sessions formatted as technology talks, keynote presentations, training seminars and business-focused debates.
“The free conference programs are always a major draw at the Plastics World Expos in Cleveland and provide a fantastic opportunity for attendees to explore key industry trends and emerging technologies,” says Andy Beevers, events director at AMI.
Specific topics to be addressed, according to AMI, include market trends; boosting recycling rates; upcycling plastic scrap; the future for plastics packaging; regulatory developments; process optimization; challenges involving per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS); opportunities tied to graphene; enhancing bioplastics; factory digitization; computer simulation; applications in electric vehicles (EVs); and artificial intelligence (AI) in new product development.
