Material handling machinery maker Sennebogen has expanded its network of dealers with the addition of PT Gaya Makmur Tractors (GM Tractors), which will provide service to customers in Indonesia. The company, headquartered in Jakarta, has been in business since 2005. The company will be selling Sennebogen’s Green Line and Crane Line products in Indonesia through its six branches.

In deciding to expand its dealer network to Indonesia, Sennebogen says the Indonesian government is planning to invest $465 billion in infrastructure over the next 12 years, creating significant opportunities in the country.

With GM Tractors as the new distributor for material handling machinery and its Crane Line and Green Line, Sennebogen says it is able to gain a reliable partner for what it calls a promising growth market. Sennebogen says opportunities are available in sectors ranging from coal and scrap handling to the numerous ports in the region.

The signature of the dealer contract occurred at the bauma 2013 event in Munich in late April. It was preceded by training and education of local sales and service staff through its subsidiary PT Sennebogen Asia/Pacific.

“We are looking forward to a fruitful and long-term cooperation with our new partner GM Tractors in a promising growth market,” said director Erich Sennebogen after signing the contract.
