Hyundai Construction Equipment Expands Warranty

Company says Total Coverage Warranty now covers qualifying 9 Series machines.

Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas Inc. has expanded its Total Coverage Warranty to cover all 9 Series Machines for three years or 3,000 hours on the entire machine, and structurally for five years or 10,000 hours, according to a company press release.

In 2008 Hyundai announced its Total Coverage Warranty in conjunction with the launch of their 9 Series Excavators. The company says it has expanded the warranty to cover all 9 Series machines in a response to current market conditions and the desire to continue to provide their customers with the best after-sales support in the industry.

Along with their Total Coverage Warranty expansion Hyundai is adding an additional year of free service for their Hi-Mate Remote Management System on all 9 Series Machines. Customers will receive three years of service free with the purchase of a 9 Series Excavator or Wheel Loader. The Hi-Mate system comes standard on all 9 Series machines, providing customers with up-to-the-minute service, performance and diagnostic data so they can better manage their machine’s work output, and in turn, maximize their production and profits.

“With the current market conditions being what they are, it is more important than ever that the customer feels their manufacturer will stand behind them and the product after the purchase is made,” says Kirk Gillette, vice president of Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas. “At Hyundai our mission statement is to provide our customers with quality before and after the sale.”
