Previous director of compliance for Dell Global Asset Recovery and Recycling joins company.
Electronic Recyclers International (ERI), headquartered in Fresno, Calif., has named Michael R. Watson its strategic account director.
Watson previously served as director of compliance for Dell Global Asset Recovery and Recycling. In this role he led the development and implementation of Dell’s global recycling policies and procedures, including regulatory interpretation, service planning, vendor auditing and information systems implementation. Watson also was responsible for ensuring Dell’s compliance with federal, state and local environmental regulations as they relate to computer recycling and reuse and managed all aspects of Dell’s online environmental presence globally.
During his 18-year Dell tenure, Watson also served in several other leadership roles, including senior manager for global e-commerce, intra/Internet Web business leader, senior IT operations manager for global sales, global program manager for corporate finance and IT senior manager for global finance.

ERI says it processes more than 275 million pounds of electronic scrap annually at eight locations across the United States.
