The China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association Recycling Metal Branch (CMRA) also will send delegation to March 5-7 event in Dubai.
The China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association Recycling Metal Branch (CMRA) has agreed to be a full sponsor of the 2013 Middle East Metals Recycling Conference.
The Beijing-based CMRA is currently assembling a delegation of Chinese scrap metal buyers and traders to attend the event, which takes place at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, March 5-7.
The CMRA, which hosts its own annual conference each November in China and is hosting another event in Shanghai in May of 2013, describes itself as a bridge and link between government agencies and nonferrous metals companies in China. “CMRA develops international cooperation and exchange and promotes the advancement of science and technology as well as commercial [trade],” the group says on its website, http://www.cmra.cn/en/.
The Middle East Metals Recycling Conference has been organized on a joint venture basis by the United States-based Recycling Today Media Group and Dubai-based publisher Media Fusion, the publisher of Waste & Recycling Middle East magazine.
The event will offer sessions examining commodity markets for nonferrous and ferrous scrap in a global context; updates on customs and regulatory issues affecting traders and shippers; and presentations on new processing methods and techniques in the scrap industry.
