The software company cieTrade, Stamford, Conn., has recently introduced a new application designed to allow users to take photographs of export containers and document quality issues on received loads.
According to cieTrade, the photos are automatically uploaded into a company’s cieTrade database using cieTrade Cloud and attached to the appropriate worksheet using the load or container number. The procedure eliminates manually managing photos, the company says.
Finally, the attached images can be easily emailed to customers or suppliers, along with booking documentation, to address claims.
