
Wendt Corp. hosted Demo Days at its headquarters in Buffalo, New York, and at its Technology Center in Tonawanda, New York, June 28-29, 2017. The event featured demonstrations of the company’s latest equipment and technology, a tour of the company’ headquarters, product showcases at its manufacturing facility and a cocktail reception that allowed guest to network with one another.
Attendees were able to meet industry experts from Wendt and the company’s exclusive technology partners, Tomra Sorting and MTB.
The free event centered around new equipment and technology and processes for maximizing recovery and value from Wendt and its partners.
The event began June 28 with lunch and was followed by demonstrations of the Cablebox using No. 1 copper cables and shredder wire as well as zorba sorting with the X-Tract. The evening concluded with the cocktail reception with product showcases at Wendt headquarters.
June 29 included demonstrations of twitch sorting to cast and wrought aluminum on the X-Tract, the Wendt/MagPro Ultra Fines ECS (eddy current separator) and processing aluminum cables and copper/aluminum radiators on the Cablebox. The day concluded with lunch at the Wendt Technology Center.
