CWD, along with the four cities, were recognized for implementing the company’s X-Treme Green Event. Through the program, more than 75,000 residents were able to recycle 125,580 pounds of hazardous waste, electronic scrap, tires, larger metal items and personal confidential documents.
CWD recently inked a five-year renewal contract with the city of Azle. Earlier this year CWD was awarded the exclusive franchise as the waste and recycling hauler for the city of Forney.
