The Tennessee of Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) has announced it is accepting applications for its Recycling Equipment Grants program, as well as its Recyling Rebates Grant and Used Oil Grant programs.
The Recycling Equipment Grant allows local governments and nonprofit recycling groups to purchase necessary recycling equipment. Funding for the grant is available up to $50,000.
The Recycling Rebates Grant is available to cities within the five most populous state counties as determined by the U.S. Census Bureau. Funding will vary by local populations.
The Used Oil Grant allows state counties and municipalities with used oil collection centers to purchase equipment for containment and disposal of used oil. Award amounts are up to $65,200, according to the TDEC.
The grant application period began July 1, 2016, and ends Oct. 3, 2016.
