Perry Jacobs has been promoted to president of Shared Logic Group Inc., headquartered in Holland, Ohio. Jacobs began with Shared Logic in 1990 as a support technician for the company’s DOS program. He was promoted to Windows software department manager when the company started development of its Windows-based RIMAS (Recycling Industry Management and Accounting System) application in 1997. Jacobs was named executive vice president in 2004.

“I am grateful to have reached this significant milestone in my career,” Jacobs says. “I could not have achieved it without the support of our customers and employees. My sincere thanks to them for granting me the privilege of working with them and I look forward to continuing to do so in the years to come.”

The Shared Logic Group Inc. has been providing accounting and management software solutions for the recycling industry for more than 30 years. The company says it has more than 3,000 licensed users.

In addition to RIMAS, Shared Logic offers the following product expansions:

  • RIMAS MMC (Maintenance Management and Control);
  • RIMAS Online, which offers online access for trading partners;
  • Trader Inquiry, which promises “dynamic” access to company data;  and
  • E-Doc Executive, which provides electronic document storage and retrieval.

In addition to the Shared Logic’s software products, the company says it has created integrated equipment add-ons designed to streamline certain procedures required by the recycling industry.
