According to an article by KWQC, Davenport, Iowa, the mayors of Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa, came together Tuesday, June 22, 2016, to unveil Scott County’s “Go All In” single-stream recycling program at the Scott Area Recycling Center in Davenport.
Over the next five weeks, county residents will be receiving new recycling carts stamped with the ‘Go All In’ motto. The single-stream system will begin Aug. 1.
“This is a great opportunity for a lot of people to use,” Mayor Klipsich said at the event. “If you look through the material, you can see how easy it is to do it, and it’s better for our community. And we are literally helping the bottom line of their community financially, but also as an environment as a whole.”
