Prestige Economics, Austin, Texas, the firm headed by frequent scrap recycling industry convention speaker Jason Schenker, has been ranked No. 1 in two separate economic forecasting categories by the Bloomberg news service.
Schenker says Bloomberg has ranked Prestige Economics as its No. 1 industrial metals price forecaster in the world and its No. 1 gold price forecaster in the world as well as its No. 2 precious metals price forecaster in the world.
“We have previously been ranked No. 1 industrial metals price forecaster in the world by Bloomberg in 2015 and in 2011,” says Schenker. “In total, Prestige Economics has been ranked a top forecaster by Bloomberg in 31 categories since 2011.”
A detailed listing of why Prestige placed No. 1 in Bloomberg’s Industrial Metals forecasting category shows the Texas firm ranked #1 in its zinc and tin forecasts and #2 in its aluminum forecast.
