Sadoff Iron & Metal, Fond du Lac, Wis., has chosen London-based Brady plc for a software package that will manage the recycler’s enterprise information technology requirements at its eight North American facilities. Brady plc announced an agreement to acquire Ohio-based Systems Alternatives International (SAI) in November 2012.
Sadoff, which handles ferrous and nonferrous scrap and electronic scrap, has facilities in Wisconsin and Nebraska. It will be using the software firm’s Commodity Recycling Enterprise Solution (CRES) package, which was developed by SAI and is now offered by the Brady Recycling division. In a news release, Brady says CRES will allow Sadoff to rely on the software firm’s enterprise visibility, focusing on financial, commercial and operational management requirements of recycling companies.
”Brady Recycling will provide us with the fully integrated and comprehensive recycling software solution that our multi-location business demands,” says Jason Lasky, senior VP of corporate shared services at Sadoff Iron and Metal. “Its advanced browser-based financial, operations, commercial and logistics reporting capabilities will deliver timely, actionable information for all of our management teams.”
Lasky continues by saying, “This solution was developed specifically for recycling companies, and the Brady Recycling team has years of experience in this specialist market and have earned a great reputation. We’re looking forward to working with Brady Recycling’s experienced staff in the weeks ahead.”
“Sadoff Iron & Metal Co. is one of the premier commercial recyclers in the Midwest,” says John Underwood, president and CEO of Brady Recycling. “We are excited at the opportunity of working with their excellent staff in implementing the many benefits of CRES. Sadoff is the type of progressive, well-managed company that I’m sure will take advantage of the many proven features of CRES to optimize their operations even further.”
