Redemtech UK, based in Surrey, United Kingdom, has changed its name to The ITAD Works and launched new services. ITAD says the new range of services enables organizations to streamline operations, optimize new and used IT hardware and generate better value from asset disposal.

The new “pre-life” and “mid-life” services from The ITAD Works are compatible with its established IT Asset Disposition solutions and the customer service goals of value generation, brand protection and lean solutions.

“With most IT budgets stretched, organizations need to implement more agility into their day-to-day IT operations and asset management activities, to increase asset optimization and contain costs,” says Robin Gue, ITAD Works’ chairman. “At the same time, security and compliance requirements are forcing many organizations to re-think how assets are managed when they’re off-network.”

Gue continues, “The ITAD Works provides a new approach to managing technology, positioning and re-positioning hardware intelligently and securely with measurable control. These new services complement the strong heritage that the company has built for leading-edge IT asset disposition since 2002.”

The ITAD Works provides what it calls strategic asset life cycle, recovery and recycling management of IT hardware for public and private sector organizations in the U.K. and Europe. The company says it is the first ITAD firm in Europe to be e-Stewards certified and also is ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certified.
