Following the success of Paper Recycling Conference North America, Paper Recycling Conference Europe and Paper & Plastics Recycling Middle East, the Recycling Today Media Group and Smithers Pira are launching a brand new event, Paper Recycling Conference Asia. Joining in the partnership for this event is the China Technical Association of the Paper Industry (CTAPI). Paper Recycling Conference Asia, which takes place in Shanghai May 30-31, 2013, will be an opportunity for companies in North America, Europe and rest of the world to meet buyers in Asia.

China has seen unprecedented growth in the recovered paper market, and Asian paper manufacturers are looking to North America and Europe as vital supply chain partners to provide secondary fiber. Paper Recycling Conference Asia is designed to be a high-caliber forum to debate and discuss ideas for moving the industry forward and provides an opportunity to make new contacts and strengthen existing business connections.

The inaugural Paper Recycling Conference Asia will provide delegates with a forum to learn about paper mills’ development plans for mill capacity and their ever evolving fivber requirements. Attendees also will gain in-depth insight into the commodity markets for recovered paper and hearing about the Chinese domestic recovery market and how it is evolving. Conference speakers also will examine trade patterns and factors influencing trade and the supply of recovered fibre across the world.

Paper Recycling Conference Asia will attract paper mills, merchants and traders, waste management firms and suppliers of machinery and equipment, as well as senior management, buyers, operations and sales and marketing contacts. Geographically, the delegation will reflect a pan-Asian attendance in addition to North American and European contacts.

The Asian Paper Recycling program will be finalized in the coming weeks, though an overview of what’s being covered has already been released.
