Metso Metal Recycling, San Antonio, has announced two new appointments to its North American sales staff. Jeff Wair and Andy Vargo will cover the southern and eastern regions of the U.S., respectively.

Wair has 29 years of experience with companies that include Marathon and Danieli, while Vargo has 13 years of experience with companies that include and Danieli, Garden Street and Allied Recycling.

Metso says its six full-time employees who serve as sales account managers in North America bring a collective 150-plus years of industry experience and have backgrounds that include engineering, field service, shear and shredder operations, product development, sales and management. They are backed by engineering, product management, sourcing, distribution and field service teams that provide “robust and efficient products and services for the metal recycling industry,” Metso says.
