Metro Alloys Inc., a scrap metal recycling firm based in East Point, Georgia, has promoted Marvin Fish and Dave Darnell to new positions within the company’s executive staff.

Fish, who joined the company in 2000, has been promoted to the newly created position of vice president of marketing.

Darnell, who joined the company in 2011, has expanded his responsibilities to become general manager, the position most previously held by Fish.

“Marvin is an integral part of Metro’s success and his strong marketing skills have helped us to continually grow while maintaining close relationships with our existing customers,” says Neil Berman, president of Metro Alloys. “He’s been in the scrap metal recycling industry nearly 50 years and his experience benefits our customers every day.”

“Dave’s experience in finance and operations has had a positive impact on Metro’s operations,” says Metro Vice President Bruce Berman. “Since joining Metro in 2011, Dave has worked across all levels of the company to assure policies and procedures are effective, understood and fully implemented.”
