Legal Shred, headquartered in New York, has announced it has reached an agreement to purchase Glen Cove, New York-based Stay Green Shredding.
"We are excited about Stay Green becoming part of the Legal Shred brand,” says Jason Fredricks, co-founder and vice president of Legal Shred. “Our combined knowledge and experience allows us to offer the best in document destruction services. This is a great win for our communities, employees and, most importantly, our customers. I personally look forward to continue to exceed customer expectations through this combined organization."
Through this acquisition, Legal Shred will expand to serve customers and businesses in Long Island, New York.
According to Legal Shred, both companies strive to play a vital role in all of the communities they serve.
"Our philosophies are very similar, with an emphasis on customer service," Fredricks says. "We look forward to working with the community of Glen Cove, New York, to bring high-quality identity protection services for consumers and businesses alike."
Joe Ferguson of Stay Green Shredding with join the Legal Shred team. Previously, Ferguson worked for Shred-It and Brinks Document Destruction. “He will be an integral team player through his practical insight, industry know-how and passion for customer service,” Legal Shred says in a news release announcing the agreement.
Legal Shred is owned by Judith Papo and brothers Jason and Sean Fredricks.
