Franklin Miller, based in Livingston, N.J., has introduced its pipeline delumper, an in-line crusher that chops, destroys, disperses and suspends solids in fully enclosed pipe systems. This unit is designed to eliminate blockages, work the stream to free flow and prevent damage to pumps and other equipment. The delumper is suitable for wet, dry, pressure or gravity systems.
The ultra-compact, straight through Pipeline Delumper is designed for easy installation. This fluid-tight pressure-rated unit has the full throughput capacity of the pipe to which it is connected, Franklin Miller says. It employs rugged impeller teeth passing through a heavy bar grating to reduce the size of the product.
A choice of packing seals or mechanical seals is provided in a convenient cartridge housing. The machine is fabricated in carbon and stainless steel in 3-inch to 24-inch pipe sizes.
