ERecyclingCorps (eRC), based in Irving, Texas, a provider of carrier-grade incentivized, mobile device trade-in and reuse solutions, has appointed Brian Wing chief financial officer.
Wing brings some 20 years of experience working across finance, operations, technology and acquisitions to oversee financial and administrative functions for eRecyclingCorps, according to a corporate press release.
Most recently, Wing served as chief financial officer, senior vice president and treasurer of Consolidated Electrical Distributors Inc., which in 2012 was named as one of the 100 Largest Private Companies by Forbes magazine. Wing managed the accounting, finance, internal audit, legal, technology, tax, process and credit functions for the organization. Before that, Wing served in leadership roles at leading toy company MGA Entertainment and as a partner at the accounting firm Ernst & Young.
“The growth of our company is driving the rapid acceleration in the mobile device trade-in and reuse industry, which requires a financial leader to help navigate the next stage of our global expansion,” says David Edmondson, CEO of eRC. “Brian’s stellar track record of strategic and operational excellence, coupled with his deep understanding of technology, will be invaluable in guiding eRC’s financial strategy as we redefine the mobile device ecosystem with carrier partners and retailers around the world.”
