Greenstar Names Crociata as new CFO

Dan Crociata replaces Matt Delnick, who was promoted to CEO.

Houston-based Greenstar North America has announced the appointment of Dan Crociata as its chief financial officer.

Crociata replaces Matt Delnick, who was promoted to CEO at the recycling company.
“I’ve known Dan for a number of years and have firsthand knowledge of his leadership skills, business acumen and dedication,” says Delnick. “He is a great addition to the team and will be instrumental in helping the organization achieve its strategic objectives.”
Since 2007, Crociata has served as vice president, finance and administration, for Silver Line Building Products, a division of Andersen Windows. Prior to that, he served in management positions with Lafarge North America.
Crociata earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a major in accounting, from Central Michigan State University, Mount Pleasant, Mich., and a master’s of business administration degree from Wayne State University, Detroit.
Greenstar North America provides recycling services, including processing, commodity upgrading and commodity trading. The company, a subsidiary of Ireland-based NRT plc, handles 2 million tons per year of recyclable commodities through a network of 14 processing facilities.
