Britton Industries, with headquarters in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, and a location in Hamilton, New Jersey, has opened up a third facility in Philadelphia. The new facility expands the company's position as a leading producer and supplier of organic mulch, topsoil, leaf compost and crushed concrete products in central New Jersey and southeastern Pennsylvania, it says. Britton Industries says it recovers 100 percent of the recyclable material brought into each of its facilities.
"This purchase is an integral part of Britton's commitment to our region and our customers,” says Jim Britton, owner and CEO. “A commitment to continue to provide sustainable solutions to the challenges of managing organic waste and a commitment to our customers—to listen to their needs and expand into locations beneficial to them and their businesses. Adding Philadelphia enables us to address those needs by providing another convenient location to drop off a load of concrete, source a dumpster for their job site or stop by to pick up a load of mulch or screened topsoil."
"Britton Industries has the experience, leadership, relationships and customer service skills to deliver on our commitment to the region,” says Jim Mangarella, general manager. “By converting waste materials to mulch, compost and soil products we are creating safe, affordable and beneficial organic materials that provide a green solution to the communities and customers we service."
