The software firm Brady plc, based in London, has announced that its CRES and IMPACT programs are now available through the cloud.
For more than 30 years, Brady has provided business solutions to recyclers and steel mills throughout the world. Until now, Brady’s clients were required to secure and maintain the servers and infrastructure required to support these systems. Now, however, Brady's dedicated Cloud Services offer an alternative that provides many additional benefits, according to the company.
Brady's dedicated Cloud Services provide the highest levels of availability through n+1 redundancy and fully optimized storage across the solution, the company says. The system also is suitable for enterprisewide and mission-critical solutions.
Brady says that because of the scalability of the cloud environment, it is easy to add more resources as users’ demands increases. For traditional on-premise installations, such changes may require the reconfiguration of the entire IT infrastructure, which can result in much higher costs. With Brady’s cloud solution, additional costs for scaling up or out are incremental, the company says. This flexibility allows clients to control their IT costs and minimize system upgrade disruptions, with the added reassurance that Brady’s cloud services are backed and managed by the company’s experts, who have a wealth of domain and system expertise, according to the company.
By offering cloud solutions, Brady’s CRES system is available to smaller organizations. Now prospective clients with as few as three locations can take advantage of the system's capabilities and benefits previously only available to their much larger industry peers, Brady says.
