Maurice “Bud” Bradley, 71, died May 24, 2014, at Seminary Manor of Galesburg, Illinois. Bradley was a former employee of the equipment company Riverside Products, located in Bettendorf, Iowa.
Bradley started work at Riverside Products in 1972. He served many roles throughout the years, but he loved meeting with customers at their scrap yards, according to Riverside.
He left Riverside to work for Newell Inc. and Bradken foundry, although Bradley returned to Riverside Products in 1990 as an account manager. In the new position he also served as a mentor to young sales representatives. Bradley, who retired from Riverside in 2011, was a fixture in the scrap industry for 40 years and will be missed by many customers, who were also friends, as well as his former co-workers.
Bradley is survived by his wife, Marcia; his children, John Fitzgerald Bradley, Denise (Warren) Ratliff Jr. and David Bradley; grandchildren, Shawn (Ashley) Bradley, Derrick Rhodes and Katrina Rhodes; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Juliet and Juliana; and stepsister, Holly.
Memorials in Bradley’s honor may be made to his family.
