“Our ability to attract a veteran of Greg’s caliber is an indication of what we’ve achieved,” says Fred Waite, chairman of BACE. “He’s as well-known as anyone in the industry, and he's universally respected for his abilities and his accomplishments.”

Leon began in the recycling and waste business with K-Metal Fabrication, located in Croydon, Pennsylvania. Leon also worked for the equipment companies Philadelphia Tramrail Co. (later PTR Baler) and Marathon Equipment Co.

In his two most recent positions, he served as director of sales at PTR Baler & Compactor Co., based in Philadelphia, where he was tasked with building a worldwide distributorship network with authorized agents throughout North America, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia and the Middle East; followed by vice president of sales for River Road Waste Solutions, Tinton Falls, New Jersey.

“Greg’s combination of experiences, from manufacturing to marketing, from product launches to brand development, has made him a leader in our field today,” says Matt Hatfield, president of BACE. “He brings us the insight and expertise we need to achieve our industry leadership objectives.”

“BACE cares about all the things on which I’ve built my career,” says Leon. “From consistently reliable customer service to sustained client relationships, I’ve established strong ties with Big Box retailers, recyclers and haulers. BACE is a perfect fit for me culturally and professionally.”
