Las Vegas recycler is now accepting plastics, electronics and more.
A&A Midwest Recycling, a scrap metal recycling company headquartered in North Las Vegas, has announced that it is now certified to receive virtually all recyclables from area businesses at its Las Vegas yard, including plastics and obsolete electronics.
"We now have all the proper health certificates from Clark County (Nevada) to offer expanded recycling services to area businesses," says Scott Stolberg, president and CEO. "Specifically, we can recycle a variety of electronic items, including computers."
Stolberg says the company can now handle virtually any items that a business has including metals, plastics, old equipment and vehicles. "We want businesses to know that we are happy to take any recyclable items they may have. For most items we can pay them as well, and they'll have the peace of mind knowing that everything was properly recycled in accordance with all local and state regulations."
In regards to electronics, A&A Midwest Recycling says that through a software program it provides certification to businesses that the data from a company's hard drive has been completely destroyed. A&A adds that the cleaning program is in compliance with The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Department of Defense (DOD) for data destruction.
