Otto Environmental Systems Adds CNG Truck to Fleet

Otto Environmental Systems North America Inc., Charlotte, N.C., has purchased its first compressed natural gas (CNG) truck. The truck will be located at the company’s Otto Container Management LLC operations center it Augusta, Ga.

“Otto Container Management is excited to continue its participation in the diversification of sustainable efforts through the use of environmentally friendly equipment. The implementation of our first CNG truck is the next step in progressing as a sustainable leader in our industry,” says Kenn Budlong, Otto Environmental’s vice president of service.

The company also has ordered four more CNG trucks that will be used at Otto Container Management’s operations center in Moreno Valley, Calif.

CNG trucks will be used in Otto’s container management division, which provides solutions to the container activity needs of private waste haulers and municipalities, regardless of container manufacturer. The truck will service operations including container delivery and removal from resident homes, curbside container maintenance, as well as additional services to include assembly and distribution projects, route audits and container rebranding efforts. 

Otto Environmental Systems North America manufactures waste containers for residential and commercial markets. The company also has a container service division that provides residential waste container logistics, distribution, servicing and repairing, as well as a custom molding division that offers product design and manufacturing.
