Green EnviroTech Signs Deal With Agilyx

8/30/2010

Agreement will give Agilyx exclusive resale rights for Green EnviroTech’s oil production.

Green EnviroTech Corp., a plastics recovery, separation, cleaning, and recycling company, has contracted with Agilyx to resell all oil produced from Green EnviroTech’s recycling process.

Green EnviroTech’s business model calls for the company to operate facilities that convert waste and scrap plastic into high-value energy products, including sweet crude oil.

Agilyx, formerly known as Plas2Fuel, is an alternative energy company that uses patented, commercially viable technology to convert difficult-to-recycle scrap plastics into synthetic crude oil. The company uses a continuous batch process to convert waste plastics into synthetic sweet crude oil. The agreement allows all types of plastic generated by Green EnviroTech to be processed in the Agilyx recycling system.

In a release announcing the agreement, Gary DeLaurentiis, CEO of Green EnviroTech, says, "We are extremely pleased to partner with industry leader Agilyx to help extend our large scale recycling and favorable carbon footprint efforts."

"This is truly a unique opportunity to produce oil in the U.S. without drilling into the ground while using 'no-value' materials that would normally go to landfills to produce the oil. The net-positive environmental impacts, creation of green collar jobs, production of domestic sources of oil and industry spanning economic benefits are combined using Green EnviroTech's expertise," DeLaurentiis adds.
