The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI), Washington, will join members of the Senate Recycling Caucus from 2 to 3 p.m. Eastern time Nov. 15, 2016, America Recycles Day, for a Senate briefing on the state of recycling. This briefing will highlight the current economic, environmental and social impact of recycling in the U.S. and related policy issues, ISRI says. Current challenges and opportunities for the industry and consumers also will be addressed from various angles with a special focus on plastics recycling.

- Senate Recycling Caucus Co-Chair Senator Tom Carper (D-Delaware);
- Senate Recycling Caucus Co-Chair Senator John Boozman (R-Arizona);
- Robin Wiener, ISRI president;
- Brenda Pulley, Keep America Beautiful;
- Eadaoin Quinn, Sims Municipal Recycling; and
- Dave Heglas, Trex Co.
