Copper cable spools swiped in Oklahoma

Five spools of two-inch copper cable with a combined value of more than $120,000 reportedly have been stolen in Enid, Oklahoma.

An online report by on the Enid News & Eagle website says the city’s police department and the owner of the black-coated copper spools are seeking the public’s help and offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information.

The news item discloses only the 800 block of North 66^th Street as the area from which the spools were stolen. Online search engines indicate a Wyoming-based wind turbine components company has a storage and distribution facility on that block.
