Retailer begins electronics recycling program.

April 23, 2008

Crutchfield, a catalog and Internet retailer of consumer electronics, has announced a partnership with Consumer Electronics Exchange (CExchange, LLC) to provide an electronics recycling service to the company’s Web and retail locations.

The new service allows Crutchfield customers to recycle their unwanted consumer electronics into new Crutchfield gift cards.

Crutchfield customers now have an easy way to see real value for their unwanted mobile phones, HD DVD players, MP3 players, cameras, camcorders, GPS units, handheld gaming devices, gaming consoles and car audio players. Additional products will become eligible throughout the year.

Consumers can now bring their unwanted electronic devices to any Crutchfield location or go online to http://crutchfield.cexchange.com to get an idea of what their items are worth and how to exchange them for a gift card.
