Shred-Tech, Cambridge, Ontario, has introduced its latest line of STS single-rotor shredders. Through a new partnership, Shred-Tech will import machine components from Chinese manufacturer Genox Corp. of Guangzhou, while Shred-Tech will complete the assembly of the shredders and recycling systems in Cambridge and in Apex, North Carolina.

Shred-Tech’s team of engineers have worked closely with Genox during the past 18 months to ensure all facets of the new STS lineup meet North American quality standards and Shred-Tech’s rigid internal quality requirements, according to the company. Shred-Tech says it ensures each completed shredding system will undergo extensive inspection prior to shipment and installation.

The entire STS single-rotor shredders lineup, ranging in size from 25 to 400 horsepower, will include Shred-Tech’s worldwide warranty coverage, maintenance programs and after-sales service. Spare parts will be stocked and supplied in both of Shred-Tech’s North American facilities as well as at the company’s 12 mobile service units located across the continent.

Shred-Tech President and CEO Rob Glass says, “We are excited about partnering with such a well-known, high-quality manufacturer such as Genox China to bring best-in-class, competitively priced, single-rotor shredders to the North American market. We see our new line of STS shredders as the perfect complement to our current dual and quad shaft shredders; all backed by our well-established reputation for a commitment to quality, 100 percent customer satisfaction and strongest-in-the-industry after-sales support.”

Yoa Qiong, president of Genox China, adds, “Genox is delighted with the opportunity to work alongside Shred-Tech in supporting their launch of single-rotor shredders in North America. Both companies have a well-respected and extensive tradition of manufacturing quality shredders and recycling systems worldwide. Together we feel this partnership will allow each of us to continue to build upon this legacy of success.”
