Centennial Recycling, a recycling brokerage firm based in Aurora, Colo., has hired Frank Sanchez as its new vice president of strategic development. He will join the company Feb. 3, 2014. In his position, Sanchez will work to develop Centennial’s portfolio of regional, national and international accounts.

Centennial says Sanchez comes to the company with significant experience in the paper and paper recycling industry, including having spent the last 16 years working with Bio-PAPPEL International, where he was instrumental in securing large corporate accounts and developing two greenfield full service recycling plants.

“I am excited to start a new challenge with Centennial and look forward to working with the team to further develop their already extensive brokerage portfolio,” says Sanchez. “I am fortunate to be joining such a respected company that prides itself on ethics and top-quality service.”

Lycee Francis, president of Centennial, says, “Frank’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge has already made him a key addition to the Centennial family. We view his appointment as a sign of our commitment to being the leading company in our industry sector. Our new innovations and the increasing needs from our partners led us to look for an addition to our team who will fit in with our values of differentiation and exceptional service, and we consider ourselves very fortunate that we were able to find someone of Frank’s caliber to fulfill this role. I’m confident that Frank will play a key role in providing and implementing high quality opportunities and solutions for our current and future partners.”
