Custom-designed containers were part of a $164-million stadium renovation project.
Witt Industries, based in Mason, Ohio, recently supplied Texas Christian University (TCU), Fort Worth, Texas, with durable, custom metal waste and recycling containers as part of the university’s $164 million stadium renovation project.
The custom-designed containers combine aesthetics with functionality. The containers feature the TCU Horned Frog logo on the receptacles, which are powder-coated to match the university’s color scheme. The receptacles are also enhanced with protective coated bases to add durability and protect the stadium concrete.
"We expect the stadium renovation to transform the game-day experience of every Horned Frog fan” says T. Ross Bailey, TCU's associate athletics director. “A key element of that experience is a facility free of trash and debris—which is achieved through the addition of 102 custom waste and recycling containers. These containers extend our sustainability initiatives while building the Horned Frogs brand.”
“Witt is excited to be a part of TCU inaugural Big 12 season, and we look forward to keeping Amon G. Carter Stadium clean and looking great for years to come,” comments John Winfield, Witt’s national sales manager. “As the premier leader in sports ventures, we are honored that Texas Christian University joins our list of collegiate stadiums that have selected the Witt Stadium Series logo waste receptacles as their choice of receptacles for concourse.”
Witt Industries, a woman-owned manufacturer of a full range of metal waste and recycling receptacles for indoor or outdoor environments, was founded more than 100 years ago.
